Life is hard. It is oft times discouraging. Sometimes the drive to go on dwindles, yet God tells us that “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God. (Isaiah 43) He is “still in His temple and He still rules”. (Psalm 11:4b)
So, I will “Run to win” (I Cor. 9:24a), to bring glory to God, to do the work, to do the best that I can so that God is glorified (I Cor. 10:31b). I will “Run with purpose” (I Cor. 9:26b).
